Hassle Free Cooking With A Built In Grill

Barbeque is a great summer pastime, but for many people it lasts year round. Hamburgers and steaks never tasted better. When most of us think of built in grills, we immediately picture the traditional rolling cart built in grills or a stand up pedestal grill. In recent years however, the built in grill has gained in popularity.

Built-in grills are a stylish and convenient way to incorporate outdoor cooking into your home. A built in outdoor grill adds pleasure and entertainment to any pool or patio party. Say good bye to the days when you had to run back and forth to your indoor kitchen, just to cook outside. Who really wants to do that anyway?

With a barbeque that is built in, you can quit wasting time on getting everything set up. Now wouldn't grilling outdoors be a much more convenient and pleasant activity if you have a barbeque permanently in your backyard? It will not only make barbequing easier for you, it can also become the center of all your outdoor activities. It not only makes a great addition to your backyard, it makes for a great setting for parties and your little outdoor kitchen is fun to show off to your friends.

Built In Grill Or Traditional?

Many of you probably already have a standard type of grill. But if you are looking at a built in model versus the traditional grill, you need to consider a few things.

1.How much cooking will you do outdoors?

2.Do you like to entertain several guests at a time?

3.Do you have adequate room in your outdoor living area?

4. What is the cost?

Cost Of a Built In Grill

All depending on the make and model, the cost of a built in grill is generally between $1000-$2500 dollars. A traditional grill you can pay anywhere from $250 to over $1000. In general, the different brands fall into the following pricing categories, although it differs with individual models.

Lower Price Built-In Grills: Cal Flame, Capital, Char-Broil, Fire Magic, Napoleon, Solaire

Mid-Range Built-in Grills: Alfresco, Crown Verity, OCI, Weber, Vermont Casting, DCS

High-End Built-In Grills: Kalamazoo, Lynx, Wolf, Viking

You Can Do Either!

If a built in grill is not an option for you, you can still find a darn nice standard size grill to your liking. You can add accessories such as a mini bar, refrigerator, and storage to any outdoor kitchen.

My personal recommendation for any grill would have to be a Weber. You may have a better recommendation, but here is why I like Weber even though they may not be the cheapest.

1. A Weber grill is built to last. I would rather pay a little now for quality rather than purchase another grill in 3 years. Actually cheaper in the long run.

2. Weber has been around forever and has an outstanding reputation.

3. 24-7 customer service and outstanding warranties.

4. Easy to order replacement parts if needed. (weber.com)

5. Other satisfied customers

"Excellent product. I now see why there are so many recomendations for a Weber grill. The Genesis E-310 is the best grill I have ever owned....." James R.

"I did a lot of research before deciding on a Weber. The main factor was their reputation for customer service and product warranty. Despite some minor difficulties in the set-up, I am quite pleased....."

"A grill by any other name is not a grill. My Weber grill lasted me from 1998. I originaly took a lot of heat from my wife because of the cost, $450.00, until my two neighbors grills started petering out one by on. They contiued buying the $199 to $299 specials. One actually is on his fourth grill and it's a piece of crap...."
